Crescent Drive Walk

Join Out There this Saturday, March 8th for a walk through Crescent Drive Park(781 Crescent Drive)
MEETING INFO: We will be meeting at the park washrooms/pavilion that is  located in the middle of the park (please see map bellow- indicated by the washroom icon) . We will gather starting at 1:45pm before departing at 2pm sharp. If you are having issues viewing the map, it can be found by clicking here

REGISTRATION?: No registration is being requested for this walk. Just meet us at the pavillion.
ROUTE/TRAIL:  We will be exploring the deeply wooded trail at the interior of the park, which leads us to the golf course that is open for walking/ cross country skiing in the winter. We will finish with the exterior loop of the park perimeter that talks us along the banks of the Red River. Expect a total walk of 5-6km taking between 1.5 to 2 hours.

PARKING: The included map shows the lots available. I recommend the lot at the east end of the park (this is the largest lot). All lots are a hop, skip and jump to the pavilion.
BUSES: Unfortunately, the nearest stop is on Pembina Ave, from where it is roughly a 20 minute walk. If you would like to arrange a ride, please let me know.
COST: A loonie donation to Out There is requested.
GUESTS: This is a 2SLQBTQIA+ event; guests should be community members or allies.
DOGGOS?: There are often many deer out at the park. If your dog(s) is not reactive to deer and stays on leash- Absolutley!
