Activity: Cross-country skiing
Where: Bourkevale Community Centre, 100 Ferry Rd
Meet at the Cantina (look for the neon “Open” sign)

We’ve had beginners before and you go at your own pace. Lessons may be available at the Windsor Park Nordic Centre: https://windsorparknordic.ca/lessons

Ski equipment can usually be rented from local ski shops. Rates vary and rentals can be expensive (around $90 for a two-day rental at Sampson’s).

Activities will go ahead unless weather makes travel unsafe. Dress warmly.

A $1 contribution will be collected per outing to help cover Out There Winnipeg overhead. Please bring change.

If these dates don’t work for you, feel free to organize your own group. My feelings won’t be hurt
