Join Out There for a pleasant and scenic walk through Kilcona Park on Sunday August 25th @2pm.Kilcona Park is on the east side of Hwy 59, just north of Chief Peguis and borders Springfield Road.
We will meet at the base of the hill off the main parking lot that is accessed off Norris Road (this runs parallel to Des Vrires: Hwy 59)  beginning at 1:45, before departing @ 2:00.
This walk will take us around the beautiful water features and up and down the natural topography. There is an extensive trail system, the walk length is not fixed and can be determined as we walk. Expect a walk between 4 and 6km. This should be around an hour and a half walk

Parking: There is a large lot that can be entered off Norris road. There is also parking along Norris Road if needed.
Bus: Service to this area is poor to non-existent on the weekends. It would be a long haul from an in service stop. If car-pooling to the park is required, email me for assistance.
Trail: A mix of paved, grass, crushed rock and dirt. This is generally in excellent shape. Preceding heavy rain could leave some sloppy spots.
Cost: None. A dollar donation to Out There is appreciated however.
Registration: Simply meet us at our meeting point at the designated time.
Can I bring a friend?: Certainly. This is a 2SLGBTQIA+ event, so the should be a community member or an ally.
DOGS?: Yep! Kilcona does have a large off leash area. Please keep your animal leashed when we are not in these areas. All owners are responsible for their animals behaviour
