BUNNS'S CREEK WALK

Join Out There this Saturday, March 28th, for a walk along the always pretty Bunn's Creek.

MEETING INFO: We will meet in the parking lot at 2080 Henderson. This small lot is at the western end of the trail where the creek feed into the Red River and is accessible by bus. We will meet starting @1:45pm, with a planned departure of 2pm.

PARKING: There is space for several vehicles in this lot. If the weather is favourable, and the lot is full nearby street parking can be found across Henderson.

BUS:  The F8  runs along Henderson and lets off just a skip and a jump from the lot (at Knowles).

ROUTE: We will take the crosswalk across Henderson and follow the trail going east. The entirety of the trail takes us up to Gateway, with an option to turn back at the Bunn's Creek Park Pavilion. As an out and back trail, the total distance is between 4 and 6km that should take around 1.5 hours

CONDITIONS: With the melt and freeze nature of this time of year, expect some choppy footing at times. The forecast looks like mild temperatures with sun, making for a pleasant day.

REGISTRATION?: Not needed. Simply meet us at the designated point at the designated time.

COST: Loonie donations will be collected.

GUESTS: This is a 2SLGBTQIA+ event. Guests should be community members or allies.

DOGGOS?: Provided they remain on leash and can match our pace, dogs are welcome
